Albuqueque, NM Wildflowers 5/7/15

Albuquerque has had several days of rain and is now over the normal year to date average so the wildflowers are responding. At Bear Canyon Arroyo which is on the east side of Albuquerque and runs up to the Sandia Mountains. Desert Primrose are at peak flowering now as well in this area.

 Claret Cup Cactus were taken in the Sandia Heights area which is on the east side of Albuquerque, NM at the base of the Sandia Mountains. Peak flowering of Claret Cup Cactus is now.
