Superior National Forest Fall Color Report 9/10/14

Superior National Forest has a fall color report for September 10, 2014

 Fall colors have begun!  It is very spotty still, but there are some nice yellows in the understory and a few maples that are ahead of the crowd and are turning, especially in low areas.  Sumac is turning red, and ferns and dogbane are yellowing.  Asters and other flowers carpet the forest floor.  For downloadable maps of the fall color tours,
