The Audubon Society has conducted a study on the how climate change might impact North American Birds. Of the 588 species studied, 314 face a severe threat to their survival. If climate change continues at the current rate 126 species are at risk of severe population declines by 2050, and another 188 species could face the same fate by 2080.
Read about the study and see interactive maps that show how each of these at-risk birds’ potential ranges could expand, contract, or shift in both summer and winter as our climate changes at The Audubon Birds & Climate Change Report.
