Monterey Wildflower Show 6/14 to 6/15/14

The Californian reports:

Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District is set to hold its 15th Annual Summer Wildflower Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Garland Ranch Regional Park Visitor Center, 700 W. Carmel Valley Road in Carmel Valley.Volunteer naturalists collect and display wildflowers that can be found throughout Garland Park, the Frog Pond Preserve and Marina Dunes Preserve. The exhibit is free.On Saturday there will be a field sketching class $25/$28. Both days feature free wildflower walks. There is a free lecture on “How Plants Got Their Names” on Sunday.
