Gull Communication: Postures And Vocalizations

The  Cornell Lab of Ornithology has an informative video on gull Communication. It shows how the Great Black-backed Gulls and Herring Gulls  on Appledore Island, Maine use calls and postures to set up and maintain territory and reduce costly physical conflicts.
