Mojave National Preserve has a new wildflower report fort April 25, 2014
The bloom has ended at lower elevations on the west side of Mojave National Preserve, but is continuing at higher elevations. Globe mallowand sand verbena continue to bloom in the Mid Hills area and along Cedar CanyonRoad. Mojave mound and beavertail cactus are blooming on Cima Dome along with avariety of flowers including Indian paintbrush and Palmer’s penstemon. Look along Cima Road between I-15 andTeutonia Peak Trailhead, and also along Teutonia Peak Trail.
