Anza-Borrego Wildflowers Report 12/18/13

Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association has a new wildflower report for December 18, 2013 for Oriflame Canyon

” Oriflame Canyon.  Just a few days from Chrismas but there are flowers to report.  They say that the road in is a little rough and high clearance is a must.

Plants seen included Fremont cottonwood, Western Sycamore; Willow; Sugar Bush, Rhus ovate; Wire-lettuce, Stephanomeria pauciflora; Short-winged deerweed, Lotus scoparius; and Chaparral Nightshade, Solanum xanti.
