Great Smoky Mountains Association has a new fall color report for the Huskey Gap Trail
Huskey Gap Trail, Very nice colorful foliage on the last half mile before reaching Huskey Gap (coming from Little River Trail). Offering really nice foliage are: Sugar Maples, Red Maples, Sourwood, Blueberries, Beech trees, Sassafras and Greenbriers.
Flowers in bloom on Huskey Gap Trail, Erect Goldenrod, Curtis Aster (3), Hearts-a-busting (2), White Top Aster, Pale Jewelweed, White Snake Root, Canadian Violet (3) and a nice showing of Mountain Gentian.
