As of 8:50 am this morning the Rim fire is 80% contained and 237,341 acres. It is the largest wildfire in the U.S. this year. 28% of the fire is in Yosemite and total fire acreage in the park is 66,155. Tioga Road from Crane Flat to Ten Lakes Trailhead (just west of Yosemite Creek Picnic Area) is now closed.
