The Rocky Mountain Nature Photographer forum had the following wildflower report for Yankee boy Basin in Colorado

Thought you’d like a heads’ up on YBB, as of yesterday (7/1/13). Looks like much of the bloom is popping all at once. Some great bunches of blue columbine, for example. But overall, nothing like what I’d expect there over past 20 years. Waterfalls are quite diminished. The soil is very hard, very dry. Lots of dust everywhere.
