NPR wrote about photographer Mar Hirsch’s one year project of doing a daily photograph of the same tree for one year with his iPhone. Each day he would take a different photo of the tree and post it on Facebook. As a photojournalist he found that he was chasing the moment and forcing visual opportunities. Photographing the tree he found nothing to chase.
