Northern California Rhododendron Report 5/26/13 – Updated 5/28/13

Calphoto has a several reports on Rhododendron bloom

  • Rhododendrons are in full bloom in the Ladybird Johnson Grove at Redwood National Park.
  • No rhododendrons were found in bloom at the Founder’s and Mahan Plaque Groves in Humboldt State Park.
  • Kruse State Rhododendron Preserve in Salt Fork State Park has rhododendrons in bloom along with many wildflowers. Rhododendrons are just past peak but still look good.
