ScienceDaily reported on a study on the use of flowers for pest control. It was found that the flower Sweet Alyssum was effective in controlling aphids. Several flowers were considered but Sweet Alyssum was chosen because its nectar attracted the greatest number of hoverflies, who have larvae that feed on aphids.
