Yosemite National Park had the following post on its Facebook page today: “The Merced River is near its peak flow for the year and the full moon is approaching, so the next few days will probably be the best of the year for moonbows.” Moonbows are rainbows that occurs on waterfalls from the light of the moon at certain times of the year. Moonbows are very popular with photographers. There is a video about Yosemite’s Moonbows at YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_68ytOYnTvs

Thank you. Magnificent. Hugs, Gary
