John Day Fossil Beds Wildflower Report 3/26/13

Oregon Wildflowers posted a wildflower report for the Painted Hills Unit at John Day Fossil Beds in Oregon:

Early flowers in profusion. Prairie Stars (Lithophragma bulbifera and parviflora), Yellow Bells (Fritallaria pudica), Desert Parsley (Lomatium grayii?), Large-fruited Biscuitroot (Lomatium macrocarpum). Looks like a better flower season this year. Keep the moisture coming! The Bitterroot and Alliums should be great in a couple of weeks.
