Texas Wildflower Report 3/7/13

Wildflower Haven  had the following wildflower bloom report for Bastrop and Austin Counties:

from Austin to New Ulm today…along Hwy 71 bluebonnets are starting to show, some spots with good bloom coverage. There are a lot of mature plants. Indian Paintbrushes are also starting to bloom. Is it normal for them to bloom that early in that part of Texas? Some pictures…http://texasbluebonnet.shutterfly.com/pictures/707
