The 5th Northern California Botanists Symposium “From the Redwoods to the Sagebrush:Botany Ranging Far and Wide” is 14-16 January 14 to 16, 2013 in the Bell Memorial Union on the campus of the California State University in Chico.
January 14 and 15 are a 2-day schedule of presentations by working botanists that will include sessions on Biogeography, Restoration & Recovery, Redwood and North Coast Botany and Ecology, Non-seed Plants, Propagule Biology of Northern California Seed Plants, Great Basin/Eastern Sierra Botany, and New Discoveries. Optional botanical workshops will be held on Wednesday, January 16.
