British Birder Becomes First to Break 9000 Species Seen

The Independent  reports that Tom Gullick the world’s greatest birder has become the first to break the 9000 species seen mark. He has seen 9047 birds. Tom is 81 years old and says he does not plan to go for 10,0000 even though there are about 1500 species he has yet to see.
