Chippewa National Forest Fall Color Peak

Chippewa National Forest just posted this fall color report dated three days ago

OCTOBER 1, 2012 The fall color reached peak in the Chippewa National Forest over the weekend! Bright vibrant colors can still be viewed as the aspen, oak, maple leaves start blowing off the trees.  The sun helps show off the great colors in the forest!  The tamaracks are reaching their golden color.  The warm weather this week will take a turn tonight as rain and snow are in the forecast which will help the dry areas.
