California Fall Color. had the following fall color report for the Mammoth Scenic Loop:

30 – 50% – Mammoth Scenic Loop – This scenic drive loops from U.S. 395, north of Mammoth Lakes to Minaret Road, which leads from Mammoth Lakes to the Mammoth Mountain base lodge.  The drive passes forested meadows and dramatic views of the Minarets a sawtooth range and Mammoth Mountain.  Numerous Jeep roads travel from the loop into the forest.
