It’s still early but here are a couple more reports from the Rocky Mt. Nature Photographers Fall Color thread:
9/9/12 As of today, the aspens along DeMotte Park by the North Rim of the Grand Canyon are still green. Those out towards Saddle Mountain are turning lime/yellow. Just a very few assorted branches or single trees with orange/red.
9/9/12 Did a quick trip to check out color yesterday: area around Buena Vista and Salida above 10,000 feet is coming along with patchy good color ( about 30-50% in some areas. Next weekend is looking to be good and I will be heading to the CB area.
