A rare bird reported at:  Audublog ~ Rare bird alert: Northern Parula.

“A Northern Parula was reported in Bishop, CA. The bird typically migrates along the Mississippi and Atlantic Flyways, as illustrated in this eBird map. There are occasional reports of the Northern Parula nesting in Northern California, but researchers don’t have a clear explanation. It is thought that perhaps human contact disrupted the bird’s old habitat and changed its migration pattern.”
