Desert Wildflower reports Phoenix and Northern Arizona Area – DesertUSA had the following two wildflower bloom reports for Northern Arizona on 2/20/12
“Went out to the Bartlett Lake area north east of Phoenix and found wildflowers. Poppies, Lupines and some Owl clover. Not as heavy as in years past but somewhat earlier this year.”
“..vicinity of (but not in) the McDowell Mountain State Park just north of Fountain Hills. Lupines were the most abundant along with Owl’s Clover, Fiddleneck, Globemallow, and the ever so popular Poppy. Things are definitely in the early stage yet but moving right along.”
