The Bay Citizen reports that the California Fish and Game Commission will be considering endangered or threatened status for the Mountain Yellow-legged Frog. The frog’s population has decreased by over 90 percent as a result of fungus disease, a non-native trout, pollution from the Central Valley, habitat loss, cattle grazing and wildfires.
