Natural History Wanderings

The 16th Annual San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival will take place from February 10, 2012 – February 12, 2012 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Mare Island in Vallejo, CA

The Festival is geared to beginning and intermediate birders, but experienced birders will find plenty of challenge.  It will include guided hikes and outings, tours and workshops. The headquarters is at Mare Island in Vallejo, CA where a Wildlife and Birding Expo will feature as many as 100 exhibitors, a fine art show, slide shows and presentations, good food and a Friday evening art and festival opening reception with live music. Outings are guided by experienced leaders. Price: Free, with some outings requiring pre-registration or a fee
