Natural History Wanderings

This past weekend we saw the movie “Big Year” about three birders and their efforts to see the largest number of species in a single year. It was fun and entertaining. Good location scenes. You might especially appreciate it  if  you or anyone you know likes to go birding, wildflower hunting, looking for animals or photographing sunset landscapes. I won’t give the story away. We gave it two thumbs up. I notice the reviews are mixed: S.F.Chronicle fair; New York Times good. Decide for yourself.
