California Watchable Wildlife is a website that lists many of the best wildlife viewing sites throughout California. Its goal is to “educating the public about where and how to view native wildlife and habitats in a respectful and sustainable way.” There is a database where you can select a species and see what locations it is found at. There is also a calendar of events that lists upcoming wildlife festivals.
For each site it lists:
- habitat
- species
- viewing tips
- driving directions
- contact information
