Chicago’s Urban Coyotes on Rat Patrol

Over 60 coyotes fitted radio collars and many more uncollared  patrol the streets of Chicago.  They are there with the blessings of the police.  It is part of the largest study ever conducted in urban coyotes.  The coyotes serve the city by eating small rodents such as rats and voles.  To read more go to the NPR story: 60 Wild Coyotes Patrol Chicago (And Occasionally Stop At Convenience Stores)
