Photos taken from a somewhat secret garden.

Blake Garden isn’t really a secret.  It is just that very few people know it exists, which makes a very peaceful place to be.   It is a public garden that is owned by the University of California-Berkeley.  It does double duty as a place for study and research for Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design.  It is one of my favorite places to photograph.  It is a Mediterranean Garden and has a variety of habitats.

Blake Garden is located in Kensington, CA about 4 miles from UC Berkeley.  It is only open weekdays and is closed on University holidays.  There are also views of the San Francisco Bay.  For more information and directions the website is:  http://laep.ced.berkeley.edu/blakegarden/?page_id=2
