Kaua’i Albatross Network has great photos of Laysan Albatross on their website. Layan Albatross are pretty amazing birds. They spend 90% of their lives airborne. They can have a life expectancy that exceeds 60 years old. They are able to fly for at least six days without flapping their wings even once. They routinely travel from Hawaii to Alaska and back to catch and deliver lunch for their one chick. To see the photo gallery go to: http://www.albatrosskauai.org/wp/gallery/
