Wildflower Hunting in Washington and Oregon
The rains that many people complain about lead to good wildflowers in Washington and Oregon. Mt. Rainer National Park, the Cascades, the Olympics and Columbia River Gorge all are associated with great wildflower hikes and viewing. Below are resources to help you plan your wildflower excursions.

Another good wildflower book for the Pacific Northwest is “Best Wildflower Hikes Washington” by Art Kruckeberg with Karen Sykes & Craig Romano, and photos by Ira Spring; published by The Mountaineers Books, ISBN 978-0898869644.
