Bird Photos of South Florida

Here is a slideshow of some of the birds I saw on my recent trip to south Florida (and a few alligators and turtles). All photos were either taken at Green Cay Wetlands or Wakodahatchee Wetlands. See related articles below for more information about the wetlands and the species that I saw. All photos were taken with a Panasonic-Lumix DMC-FZ35 compact camera.

  1. These were breathtaking, beautiful photos. Great Blue Heron’s touch me the most, but the white Ibis portrait was great!
