The New York Times reported that Yellowstone National Park's most famous wolf had been killed just outside the park. THe wolf known as 832F was the Alpha female of a well known wolf pack and was well know to wildlife watchers. This is the 8th collared wolf killed outside of Yellowstone. This is the first year federal and state officials have allowed the controversial hunting of wolves to the great disappointment of wildlife conservation groups.
